Fabulous vintage felted wool hat by Eric Javits, world famous milliner who's first creation debuted in 1978 at Studio 54 and has since become the the number one supplier of designer headwear at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and Nordstroms.  This work of art is a rich purple felted wool cossack/shako design with black corded trim & tassle detail, most likely dating back to the 1980's/early 90's.  

Measurements:  Height: 5.5" in front // 22" circumference at grossgrain ribbon
