"Filene's Plaza Shop" was located on the 5th floor of Filene's Department Store on Washington Street in the heart of downtown Boston. It was THE place to shop and be seen. This 1960's long-sleeve black dress has a zipper-front, five silver-tone chunky round buttons and a hidden snap on each cuff and an attached belt made of matching fabric and a fabulous silver-tone interlocking buckle. It is very fitted through the bodice and then flares out into an a-line. The sleeves are dolman-styled and taper very narrow through the forearm and wrist.
