Taking the "LBD" to a whole new level. This sexy sleeveless 1950s black lace ribbon & crochet fitted dress dripping with shiny black sequins will not disappoint. Comprised of two "dresses" sewn together: the outer layer combines sheer black lace crochet, ribbon weaving and sequins while the under layer is a black acetate. Simple sheath style with scoop neckline which falls even lower on the back. 16" back center metal zipper closure. Front & back contour darts join the two layers. The collar and arm openings are finished with a 1/4" of black satin piping. A 3.5" wide band of lovely heavy-weight silky taffeta graces the hemline and provides the perfect finish. A simply classic style with nothing simple about it...there are no tags or label so likely a made-to-measure one-off by a very skilled seamstress.
Fits Like A Modern: 6/8 (Fabric does have a bit of "give" to it)
CONDITION: Excellent. I did mend a few loose sequins and a small tear on the lining near the collar. There is some wear to the inner layer near the hemline in the back, but a hidden issue as far as wear-ability of the dress. Overall this dress is in amazing condition and is ready to wear.
