A stunning example of the beautiful details found in dresses designed by Abe Schrader. This dress hails from the Camellia Room; the better dresses department of Peerless Company, a Rhode Island apparel retailer for more than 50 years whose flagship store was located on the corner of Union Street & Westminster Street, downtown Providence, RI.
Charcoal brown background with oversized fall floral acorn print in shades of orange, gold & russet. Wide ruched waist-band with falling sash trimmed in russet satin. 24" back center metal zipper. Jewel length kimono sleeves. The skirt is quite full with an A-line flare. Lined with matching russet acetate lining from top of waist-band to hem. (Bodice area is not lined.)
