You may recall quite a while back I told you that I had finally joined Flickr~~but truth be told I really hadn't done very much with it as far as my own photos go. I would attempt to cruise around the site and find some inspiration, but I soon realized that each and every web~based "club" has it's own little rules and system and I just didn't feel like trying to figure out yet another "cyber" system that would leave me rubbing my eyes, with a dull headache, wishing I had just spent the time listing a new item in my boutique (or watching Pride & Prejudice again) instead of trying to become Bill Gates' next program designer (LOL!!!!!!)

Welcome to the world of PIKSI
Who, in my personal vintage~loving opinion
has absolutely achieved the delicate challenge of wearing vintage clothing in a smart, stylish, modern, yet entirely feminine way. Her mix of thrift, vintage, gifts, designer, discount & an occasional piece from her boyfriend's closet gives the grandest of results, as her photos prove. She can be a Vintage Movie Starlet one evening, and the simple, yet classic college student ready to hit the books the very next morning. I would love to have interviewed her for "Tales From A Vintage Wardrobe", but settled for permission to display her lovely photos and links to her Flickr photo-stream. It's the stuff that vintage wardrobe dreams are made of!
Thank you, Piksi, for such wonderful Vintage Fashion Inspiration!

I found this great Etsy site where you can find these great gift items:
What a great way to give a room a bit of vintage fashion flair!
Have you heard of this fantastic site yet? It's called Queens of Vintage and in their very own words it is:
"A DAILY GLOBAL GLOSSY FOR VINTAGE LOVERS"
A must~mark site for all vintage clothing/fashion aficionadas!
So, if after all this, you are still tempted to wear your sweats even one more time, please try to
